What to expect at your first appointment:

• You will meet the doctor, he/she will advise the hygienist of what x-rays need to be taken.
• The hygienist will clean teeth, chart existing conditions, take periodontal measurements, take intraoral photographs of teeth and take necessary x-rays.
• The doctor will come back in and do a thorough exam, oral cancer screening and advises patient of any needed treatment.
• If necessary, you will meet with a care-coordinator to further discuss any needed treatment, costs, insurance benefits, etc.

If you have been to see another dentist within the past 3 years, we ask that you contact them and request copies of any "current" x-rays, you may have. (Your previous dental provider will know what a "current x-ray" entails.)
